The SafeStart ToolBox Series DVDs will help you maximize the effectiveness of your SafeStart training. They are designed to provide you with a quick and easy method to solidify the concepts, sustain the learning, and improve your employees’ critical error reduction techniques. They can easily be integrated into your regular safety talks following the completion of the core SafeStart training and help keep it fresh between subsequent sessions—like the Extended Application Units.
Videos are also available in digital formats for network or intranet streaming with appropriate licensing. Contact your account manager for details.

The ToolBox Series consists of 40 short videos (8 DVDs with 5 videos on each, packaged together for your convenience). Each video lasts about 5 minutes and is designed to review the SafeStart concepts and techniques during a toolbox talk or tailgate session. After seeing a re-creation of an accident, the participants are asked to identify the safety practices that could have prevented this accident, the SafeStart states and errors that contributed to the accident and the Critical Error Reduction Techniques (CERTs) that may have prevented the accident. Most videos end with an off-the-job equivalent scenario. There is an instruction booklet that identifies the scenarios depicted, and the states, errors and CERTs that each video covers.
