SafeStart Sustainability Programs

To realize the full potential of the SafeStart process, it is important to follow up your initial implementation of the core SafeStart program with one or more of our Sustainability Programs.

As the name suggests, these programs will help you sustain the injury reductions you’ve gained with SafeStart by more fully developing the employees’ skills, keeping concepts fresh in their minds and integrating the SafeStart process into your other safety systems.

You will find that all of these programs are very easy to implement now that you’ve already taught employees about the core concepts—and we’ve even provided recommended rollout plans during our leadership and steering committee sessions.

Depending on the implementation plan you develop, nearly any combination of these programs can provide up to five years of sustained learning and injury prevention improvements. However, we strongly recommend that you include the Extended Application Units and SafeTrack in your plan to achieve the greatest results.
